Sorry, but I disagree in this particular ....
Everywhere that I ask for no one knows Vexim ...
In newsgroups ...
In meetings ... ( I leave in Brasil ! )
In mailing lists ...

But if I ask about any project that are hosted in Sourceforge everyone 
knows it, even the most obscure and unused one ...

Sourceforge brings visibility !!!
