Okay.

The server is a Debian Lenny directly attached to the internet via a 
cable modem, no special routers or anything. According to the ISP I'm on 
a DCHP service, but the ip has been the same for the last 3-4 years now. 
And the server is actually a backup server for the main hosting server, 
wich is down, and has been the latest 3-4 months now. That in it self is 
another story. This is a backup server. But it works as a primary right 
now. It has several domains pointed to the IP from everydns.net (witch 
is a great free service btw).  So yes, I have several public DNS/MX/A 
records.  Not sure if you need more general info?
