Hi Andreas,
While this may not be the exact issue you are having I strongly recommend setting up an rDNS record for your mail server IP. Hotmail AOL, yahoo and many many other mail servers automatically reject email now if you don't have an rDNS because if the mail server software cant tell you apart from a pc with a virus sending out spam then it blocks you to be safe. Also a lot of blocklist's like SORB's spamhaus etc will list you if you don't have rDNS.

Pop your mail server IP into this http://postmaster.aol.com/tools/rdns.html and see what it comes back with. If it doesn't have a fully qualified domain name (or what looks to be a broadband or dial up response) that will always give you problems.

Honestly, you need a reverse DNS record for your IP for you to send mail to the Internet directly.

Ok. If this IP is yours forever (as you seem to think) then create a PTR record for in where you manage your DNS!

Im going to check this up with a "pro" later tonight. I even rechecked everything a everydns.net. But no PTR in their free stuff.
I even checked it out with godaddy.com and they had something called host summary, where I could assign a host to a ip. But since I'm not wat the purpose was so never did anyting with it.
